Remembrance Run

Results: the 2019 Remembrance Run:As always, it was a very atmospheric event with all the red and the two minutes silence – lest we forget. The conditions were as benign as they could be; sunshine and low tide making the under-foot going easy. BRRs on Tour, Knaresborough Half Marathon

Well that’s 11 from 12 for Nic Vosper, Knaresborough Half Marathon – Mother Shiptons Shuffle.
A crisp morning next to a chilly looking river Nidd. Four different races, ultra, marathon, half marathon and a 10k. I opted for the 10k as my ribs still hurt. An out and back two loops along an old rail track, woodland trails and minor roads. Well organised and friendly including lush cakes, chocolate and beer for all runners.
